Dechonk's trial anchor and license Workers (this site) store the minimum needed to run licensing:
- For the trial: an HMAC hash of one hardware identifier, keyed to the first time it was seen. Raw identifiers never leave your machine.
- For licenses: the purchase email, the store transaction id, the purchased tier, and the issued license key id. Nothing else; no analytics, no tracking, no third parties beyond the merchant of record's own payment processing.
The Dechonk app itself makes no telemetry and scans no file contents. Payments are processed by our merchant of record (currently Freemius), whose own privacy notice covers payment data.
